Welcome to Module 1 in SPED 470 Special Education Assessment! In this first module, we will learn about the concept of assessment in special education, the purposes of assessment, types of assessment procedures, and collaboration in assessment. You will also about how to establish basals and ceilings and administer some of the tests of the WJ-IV Tests of Achievement. You will also be introduced to CBM.

Describe standardized test administration guidelines. (CO1, CO3)
Define and determine basals, ceilings, and raw scores for norm-referenced tests. (CO1, CO3)
