EWU Library and Access
Library Overview
The EWU Libraries provides academic research support through our library resources and services to students, faculty, staff, and independent learners. With a focus on access, the EWU Libraries provides Eastern affiliates with online access to scholarly research databases and resources, as well as online assistance to complement the in-house resources and services provided.
To support your educational and intellectual pursuits, the EWU Libraries provides:
- professional assistance from library faculty via online chat, phone, and email (as well as in-person, for students in the area)
- licensed scholarly online journal databases and open source materials for your research
- A wide array of full-text journal articles across all disciplines
- Citations to research articles, with access to interlibrary loan services to obtain full-text articles not available as full-text digitally
- Access to resources from 38 Pacific Northwest academic libraries
- instruction to assist you with evaluating resources for your research
- instruction on how to construct your research inquiry and navigate the necessary search interfaces
- instruction on how to integrate and synthesize your research, in order to use it for assigned work
