Importing and Creating Your Content - Summary

Now that you've read and reviewed the materials in MODULE 1: Importing and Creating Your Content, remember the following take-aways: 

There are 2 ways to import existing content into your course:

• Via Import Content tool
• Via the Files tab

If you want to create new content...

• Use the PAGES tool to add new content, link to course files and resources.
• Use the Rich Content Editor (RCE) when editing a page to make content rich and dynamic (text, pics, videos, etc.)

And if you want to post your course syllabus, you can either...

• Add the syllabus document to files
• Create syllabus content on a page (by cut/pasting from a word doc or linking to syllabus document in files)
• Use the Syllabus Tool (to do any or all of the two options above)
